Q. Does the treatment hurt a lot?

A. You may feel a slight pricking sensation as the needles enter the skin. CELITA Clinic applies topical anesthesia beforehand to ease any discomfort, and if you're sensitive to pain, just let us know in advance so we can adjust the intensity together. How it feels can vary depending on the tip used and the treatment area.

Q. How many sessions do I need?

A. Since it takes time for collagen to regenerate and texture to smooth out, we recommend multiple sessions spaced about a month apart. The exact number and interval depend on your skin condition and concerns, and will be confirmed during your consultation.

Q. Can I return to daily life right after the treatment?

A. Most people can return to their daily routine immediately after treatment. Your face may briefly turn red or feel slightly swollen, but this usually settles within a day or a few days. Following the aftercare instructions we provide will help with recovery.

Q. Will I develop pigmentation after the treatment?

A. Because Potenza causes minimal irritation to the surface of the skin, the risk of pigmentation is relatively low. However, unprotected sun exposure after treatment can leave pigmentation behind, so please apply sunscreen thoroughly whenever you go outside.

Post-Treatment Precautions

  • For about 2–3 days after treatment, you may notice redness, mild swelling, or a stinging sensation, which usually settles within a few days.

  • Fine flaking may appear 3–4 days after treatment — please don't pick at it or force it off.

  • Washing your face and applying makeup are fine on the day of treatment, but avoid rubbing hard or any irritating massage.

  • Avoid saunas, jjimjilbang, swimming, and intense exercise for one week after treatment.

  • Avoid alcohol and smoking for 24 hours after treatment.

  • Apply SPF50+ sunscreen thoroughly whenever you go outside.

  • Results and recovery vary by individual. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have inflammation or wounds at the treatment site, please consult with us before treatment.
